Steven Touchstone, LPTA
Steven joined PPTC in April 2015. He received his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from ECPI University, and his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Richmond, where he played soccer. Steven and his wife Meredith are the proud parents of two, and stay busy with their soccer schedules. In his free time he enjoys playing soccer, golf, and spending time with his family and their 3 dogs. Steven also stays active in the community by coaching youth soccer with Richmond Kickers and FC Richmond, and volunteers with the Special Olympics.
E. Danielle Smith, LPTA
Dani joined the PPTC team in 2001. She received her Physical Therapy Associates Degree from John Tyler Community College and started working for Gregg at that time. Prior to school she worked as a physical therapy tech for 2 years. She has taken continuing education classes on sports physical therapy, building strength and fixing pain from the ground up.
Dani was born and raised in Powhatan county. She still lives here with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and camping. Dani has coached/assisted with coaching her daughter’s soccer team for the last 6 years. She is involved in her church teaching and helping with the children.

GREGG A. TOBEY, PT, DPT
Gregg has 35 years in practice recieved his Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Musculoskeletal Track, through Evidence in Motion (EIM).
Many of EIM'S world class faculty are internationally recognized for their contributions to education, research, and practice management. The extensive community around EIM provides a best-practice enviroment for students to receive the highest caliber of training and to become distinguished leaders in evidence-based orthopaedic and manual physical therapy practice.

Gregg earned his Physical Therapy degree from Ithaca College in 1984, where he played lacrosse.Prior to founding Powhatan Physical Therapy in February, 2001, he gained experience in orthopedic physical therapy at Duke Medical Center, Braintree Rehab, VCU-MCV, and a local private practice. His continuing education has emphasized functional orthopedic and sports medicine therapy techniques,focusing on the biomechanics and rehabilitation of the throwing/overhead athlete.
